Behind the Spin has scooped my news. How did they do that (I didn't write it)?

Congratulations on the new post. I hope it wasn't our attempts at blogging for the assignment that have driven you away!

No doubt the change will shake things up Richard, all the best for the move.
I hope the part time teaching schedule gives you some time for a New York trip sometime, if so dinner is on me!

Wow. Congratulations Richard.
It's great to see my former Uni bringing in someone with so much to offer. I can't think of a better addition.
I've dropped you an e-mail.

Congratulations, Richard! I can't say I'm surprised... it seems you've been looking for a challenge lately. Hope the move brings all you hope for.

Hello Richard
So you've been scooped by a blog? Seems like your students (maybe?) have paid attention :-)
Best of luck with your future endeavours, and I hope you'll keep on blogging?
Best regards
Pieter

Congratulations Richard! Having spoke with quite a few of your students in the past I know how much you'll be missed at Leeds Met.
I have a feeling we're going to see a lot more Gloucestershire students blogging from now on. ;-)

I must admit I'm quite surprised and disappointed that I'll be losing my personal tutor so early on as I'm guessing many of my colleagues will be! You will be missed!

Was it something we said Richard? All the best in the new post.
And a good tip for a post that generates loads of comments too - just announce a new job...!

Congratulations Richard,
Glucestershire are fortunate to gain an asset to the PR industry - and a placement year as well!
Best wishes Nathaniel.

Thanks for all the comments. Rather than respond politely to all of you (as I know I should), I'll pick up a general point in my next post...
