I was sitting next to Philip Young at last night's guest lecture - and admiring his shorthand. I somehow felt absolved from making notes and following up with cogent observations, confident that this would be done by someone sensible. He hasn't disappointed.
Philip from Sunderland and John Hitchins from Marjon in Plymouth had travelled to Leeds to discuss plans for Behind the Spin. More news on this to follow soon.
Last night was very interesting and I felt lucky to be there. Speakers of his kind are very motivating and great for insights to peoples PR experiences away from "dreaded" agencies.
Which I have to say, I am still undecided.

BtS is one of the best PR magazines available and it's a shame it's not issued more frequently.
Look forward to hearing the news.

Paddy - you were the individual most cited by our speaker. You took this very cheerfully.
Stephen - I'm very keen to keep you involved in Behind the Spin in some capacity (contributing or advisory?) and will go public on our plans very soon.
